New Moon Magic Spells for the Dark Moon!
Here is a list of 7 Ways you can practice New Moon Magick for the Dark Moon! 🌚💋
The New Moon 🌚 is coming in 3 days! It is well known among Magical practitioners of the ceremonial and pagan traditions that Magickal practices at specific Moon phases can be beneficial to different types of Magick and ritual.
The New Moon 🌚, also known as the Dark Moon 🌑 is excellent for deconstructive Magick, banishings, curses, divination (such as Tarot, I Ching, & Runes) and Soul searching.
So, my lovely Bohemian Spirits, here is a list of 7 Ways to embrace the New Moon Magickally!! 🌚🧹🕯🧿🌌
1. Shadow Work – The New Moon is the first phase of the Moon, and is a time where you can hardly see the la Luna and the sky appears almost black 🌌🖤. This is an excellent time for Shadow Work, and for acknowledging and embracing the darker sides of your nature. This can include secret desires, processing grief and sadness, along with integrating our animal instincts along with the sides of ourselves we tend to disown.
2. Goals & New Projects – Since New Moons 🌚 are actually NEW beginnings the New Moon is a great time to set goals 🥅 and start new projects for the Moon Cycle and month. So whether it be love goals ❤️or personal goals 💪, the New Moon has got you covered in the Goal department 👏🥅💯. Be sure to set your intentions at the Dark Moon 🌚🥅💯!
3. Deconstruction Magick – This is magick that you can practice to “undo” anything that is going against your True Will 👁 . A great example of this would be a good old “reversal candle” 🖤🕯 Reversal candles are easily purchased at a little Hoodoo or Santeria shop. They can be used to undo bad decisions and send negative energy back to it’s source 💣 , … Namely the pesky situations and haters in your life who don’t have your best intentions in mind. C-ya 👋✌️!
4. Banishings – The most well known Banishing Ritual is called the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram 👋🌠 called the LBRP for short. Ceremonial magicians practice this baby daily, but for any of you who are newbies this is a great ritual to begin practicing at the New Moon 🌚. Banishings are pretty straight forward in that their goals is to literally “banish” anything, person, or situation you really don’t want in your life. 👋💯✌️
5. Curses – As a Thelemite I believe that anyone that tries to thwart your True Will is straight up game for a Curse. 💁🏻♀️😤 One should never impose their Will on another period, and ALL should be allowed to practice their True Will provided that it does not thwart another’s. 🤝9️⃣3️⃣ If you find that someone is imposing their Will on you, then your are free to practice Psychic Self Defence with a Hex or Curse. We should never tolerate manipulation, abuse, psychic or energy vampirism in any form. A simple curse may involve writing the person’s name on a piece of paper and burning it. Or writing their name with a statement of intention 🤬🖊 📖 🔥 Other easy curses may involve the Evil Eye 🧿 , basic Sigils with intent, and may even be charged with spit. 🧿😤
6. Divination – Now my preferred method of Divination is naturally the Tarot Cards!!! 🔮🎴🎴🎴🔮. But the I Ching, Astrology Chart Readings, and Runes can also be wonderful methods of divination too! The purpose of divination during the New Moon 🌚 would be to let go of the old and unwanted, along with introspection 🧐 into one’s shadow 🌑 and setting goals for the future! That combo would make for a perfect New Moon Reading! 🔮🌑🎴💯
7. Soul Searching – Journaling 📓, reflecting, digging deep, setting goals 🥅, crying 😂, releasing 👋, summoning ➕, writing poetry 📖 🖊, and invoking during a time of SOL-itude is what I am talking about here.
